The rate of consulting services varies case-by-case and it is determined in between the faculty and the user during the initial consulting meeting. Below are some guidelines and suggested rates for reference for external consulting service:
- Minimum rate for Full Research Fellow: TWD 6000 / hour.
- Minimum rate for Assistant/Associate Research Fellow: TWD 2500-5000 / hour.
- The exact rate of service has to be clearly stated in the contract.
- The rate for conducting service-oriented consulting is expected to be higher than that for conducting research-oriented consulting.
The rates for internal consulting service can be discounted at 75%-80% of the suggested rates stated above.
